Palm Beach Gardens-based Ram Realty Advisors has recently completed the acquisition of a 23-acre land parcel in Citrus Park, including 11 acres previously owned by Big Cat Rescue, for a total of $10.145 million, as recorded in Hillsborough County property records. The development, Ram’s first in Tampa, aims to introduce over 300 new apartments to the area, enhancing the local residential landscape.
Chris Daye, owner of Commercial Development Consultants, played a pivotal role as the development consultant, managing the zoning and permitting processes. Part of the land acquired also included an area owned by Daye. This acquisition follows a trend, as just last December, Clearwater-based Boos Development purchased 56 acres of Big Cat Rescue’s land for a 280-unit townhome project.
The new development by Ram Realty Advisors will feature a modern clubhouse, visualized in a recent rendering, and plans to offer a variety of amenities aimed at creating a high-quality living environment. Scheduled to open the first apartments in summer 2026, the complex will include features such as a resort-style pool, pickleball court, dog park, pet spa, and multiple communal and private spaces designed to cater to a diverse range of resident needs.
The move to develop in Citrus Park reflects Ram’s commitment to expanding its footprint and delivering high-quality housing options in growing neighborhoods. Travis Williams of Ram expressed enthusiasm about the project, highlighting the need for new, modern living spaces in the vibrant Citrus Park area.
